Hey Siri not working on Mac Studio M2 Max

I have an Mac Studio M2 Max. "Hey Siri" is not working to open Siri although it works fine if I have opened Siri using keyboard buttons or mouse click. The microphone is a yeti blu. Any ideas?

Siri Not Working Sonoma 14.5 Can't download any of the Siri voices on MacBook Pro M3 36GB. Everything is up to date running on Sonoma 14.5. Sounds robotic and says "Siri voice will take effect when downloaded" but not possible. Have to click on Siri icon numerous times to even get a response as it doesn't always work. Contacted tech support and they can't figure it out. Has nothing to do with my internet connection as I have 2 of the exact same laptop & the other one doesn't have this issue. Anyone else experiencing this?

after update to mac os26 siri sounds different so after updated to Mac OS 26 Siri again just like every other major update reverts to Samanthas voice for announcements and system announcements etc.. I go in and change it just like I have done every other time and its still not working.. Siri herself is working but reading text back and making system announcements like notifications still sound like Samantha even though I downloaded the Siri American voice 4 and rebooted and re checked my settings.. can someone help because this is super super super annoying. every major update since they have implemented the new Siri voices this has happened and sometimes I can get it to go back to working and this time I just can't seem to get it to work. this is tagged for sequoia but that's only because it won't let me change it to os 26

It appears the Yeti Blue microphone is not supported by Hey Siri! Given siri's somewhat limited use I will just carry on as before...
