Your iPhone 11 A2111 normally supports eSIM, unless it’s a China‑region variant.

iPhone 11 (A2111) sold in the US supports eSIM, however if your device was originally manufactured for mainland China, then it will never show add eSIM and EID. China‑region iPhone 11 models have dual physical SIM only and no eSIM capability.

You can double check your model number by opening Settings ➡️ General ➡️ About ➡️ Model Number: Here, if your model number ends in LL/A → USA (supports eSIM) and if it ends in CH/A → China (Does NOT support eSIM).

If your iPhone is not a China - mainland version, then you can try the following steps one at a time:

  1. Check Screen Time settings by opening Settings ➡️ Screen Time ➡️ Content & Privacy Restrictions ➡️ Allow Changes ➡️ Account Changes ➡️ Ensure this is set to Allow
  2. Ensure that you have the latest iOS version by opening Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Software Update.
  3. Restart your iPhone. Sometimes a simple reboot resolves the EID issue.
  4. Reset Network settings by opening Settings ➡️ General ➡️ Transfer or Reset iPhone ➡️ Reset ➡️ Reset Network Settings
