Can Find My locate lost AirPods 3 that were never paired?

I bought Airpods 3, charged the case but hadn't paired them yet, then promptly lost the case (airpods inside) still wrapped in their paper (therefore unpaired). Is there any way to use Find My or other means to find my Airpods 3?

By "unpaired" if you mean that they have never been associated with your Apple Account, then I'm afraid you will not be able to take advantage of Apple's Find My network to locate them. Your only option would be to go physically looking for them.
