Problems with Recovery ans Start up disk

I just recently bought a MacBook Pro A1286, Intel based 15’’ model. I am having issues doing re-install of MacOS High Sierra. Keep getting the return……’ Recovery Server could not be contacted’……this is on Ethernet Cat 6 connection. I sent 2 logs to Apple from my ICloud email. Any help would be great!

The original installed MacOS on that Mac is likely 10.6.6, which was issued only on DVD and never available for download. 10.7 was the oldest that was available for download. Versions older than MacOS 10.11 El Capitan can't immediately make encrypted connections, so "The Recovery Server can not be contacted"

You need to use Fix#3 in the following article:

Hello thank you for the response. So it’s a 2011 A1286 MacBook Pro. I7 Intel based Mac…..I am just learning MacOS and the factory reset process has been an issue. I believe I have the disks all out of array, so it was booting to the Folder with ?……then it started to boot from there straight to Recovery. At this point I think the start up disk is out of place and I have been attempting an Internet Recovery with no lucky. Kept getting ‘Cannot contact server’ message……..today I reformatted and deleted once again, and restarted and it’s still loading a half full progress bar below the Apple logo. Every other time it would kick to Recovery by now ore just freeze with the folder. So I am only hope it’s ACTUALLY loading the OS right now ans NOT frozen
