If you are seeing this and you are running the 26.4 beta version of iOS then you should probably downgrade back to the regular version. We are not allowed to discuss issues arising from using beta software. To find out how to uninstall iOS beta software, read this support article —> https://support.apple.com/HT203282

If you are not using beta software, contact Apple about this. They have not provided us with any guidance.

This support article has various methods for contacting Apple for support and service ➔ https://support.apple.com/106932 Scroll down to “Connect with live support”. If your country is not in the list, go to the “Other countries” entry at the end of the list and click on the “options” link. Telephone numbers may only work when calling from the same country.

With an iPhone, iPad, or Vision, you can chat using the Apple Support App if it is available in your country —> https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-support/id1130498044

The latest iOS version for the public is 26.3.1 and does not contain the age verification check. However, beta 26.4 was released recently and contains the verification code. What you’ve found is a bug. It’s not uncommon in beta software.

Now it’s time to do what you agreed to when you joined the public beta program. Please report the bug using the Apple Feedback app. Thanks for your cooperation and beta testing.

Apple will occasionally require users to confirm the users age via direct contact when a change results in the new age being 18 or older. Sorry, no idea why. Only Apple Support can resolve.

If you’re in the US please call  1-800-MY-APPLE or outside the US, consult the support articles below.
