Apple TV app on Mac does not have F1 racing available.

apple tv on mac does not have F1. When I open the Apple TV app on my Mac there is not F1 available on it. I can’t locate the race anywhere. Not even in the sports tab. This is absurd. I can watch it on my web browser when I go to Apple TV. But The race is nowhere to be found in the Apple TV app on my MacBook Pro!

… have macOS 26 installed. I am in the US. I am able to watch on a browser. F1 the movie, the Netflix series F1 Drive to Survive both appear in the Apple TV app. Actual F1 coverage is completely missing.

Verify that you are additionally signed in to the Apple TV app (TV app) on Mac, with your Apple Account, as this isn’t automatically copied from the Mac System Settings. This sign in can be done through the menu Account, or through the Apple Account option in the lower left corner of the side bar of the main window of the TV app.

F1 web access from following a URL in Safari/Firefox/Chrome on that same Mac, should offer to access it through the TV app instead, through an icon in the black bar at the top of the web page.

works from any browser, it works on my Android-based TV. It doesn't work on the dedicated app on my brand new MacBook Pro.

F1 is included for Apple TV streaming subscribers in the US only.

F1 is then included in the Apple TV app for macOS 26 or later, unfortunately not on macOS 15.x.

Either update to macOS 26 (if supported for your model),

or use a browser at tv.apple.com,

or use a different device that can have the updated Apple TV app (like a smart TV or TV-connected streaming device).

I am seeing the same problem on a 2026 model MacBook Pro.

Obviously that machine can only have macOS 26 installed. I am in the US. I am able to watch on a browser. F1 the movie, the Netflix series F1 Drive to Survive both appear in the Apple TV app. Actual F1 coverage is completely missing.
