Can't watch F1 on Apple TV due to location and VPN settings

I resubscribed to Apple TV to watch formula 1, not just for the racing but also to see Apples new approach to sports coverage in this digital era. Imagine my disappointment when this appeared

my physical location is in Central America but my location services and VPN are pointing to Atlanta USA.

If you can advise a solution please do otherwise I will drop the subscription and watch F1 for free on Sky Sports.
