Content Privacy Restriction Cannot be Turned off/on

I cannot turn on Content and Privacy Restrictions on my iPhone 16. After the most recent update Apple is now restricting anything I search up online including what they deem sensitive content. I cannot check if there is a restriction in the screen time settings because all the options are greyed out and it needs me to sign in, when I do so it loads for a second with it slider turned on (green) then slides off and prompts you to sign in again, no matter how many times you try the same result occurs. I have no way to access this content and no way of fixing it, apple is somehow blocking safari searches despite claiming they don't do that. I'm stuck and unsure what to do.

Also to mention there's no external things that are blocking this and this started happening after the newest IOS Update.

From your description, it appears that there may be an issue with Screen Time or Screen Time Restriction settings.

Address the Screen Time restriction as follows:

• Open Settings ➡️ Screen Time ➡️ attempt to sign in again (this confirms the loop)

• Open Settings ➡️ Your Name ➡️ Family ➡️ check if Screen Time is enabled for your Apple ID

• Visit 👉 www.iCloud.com ➡️ Account Settings ➡️ verify Screen Time is not enabled for your Apple ID

• Open Settings ➡️ Screen Time ➡️ turn off Screen Time entirely (if it allows you)

• Restart iPhone (press and quickly release Volume Up ➡️ press and quickly release Volume Down ➡️ hold Side Button until the Apple logo appears)

• After restart, open Settings ➡️ Screen Time ➡️ turn off Screen Time again

• If the toggle still loops: Follow the instructions in this article by Apple 👉 https://support.apple.com/HT201263 ➡️ update your iPhone using a computer

• If the computer update does not fix it: Follow the instructions in this article by Apple 👉 https://support.apple.com/HT204184 ➡️ restore from a backup (this resolves corrupted Screen Time tokens)
