AirPods connected to TV but no sound

(1) You might want to check that the volume is not set too low for you to hear.

Maybe the volume setting needs changing / adapting for the TV.

(2) Also check the AirPods audio is not paused.

• "AirPods 3, AirPods 4, or AirPods Pro: To pause audio while listening with both AirPods, remove one. You can also press the stem to pause audio.
• When you return it to your ear or press the stem again, playback resumes".

(3) We can not guess which brand of TV you are using:

(4) Else: Wondering in what way you connected the AirPods:

Even if the AirPods appear in the list of devices:

You may want to try this method:

Put the AirPods in pairing mode

Go to the Bluetooth Settings on the TV

and choose "Add device"

Select the AirPods when they appear.

As you hear no sound when wearing either of two out of three sets ... my earlier reply gives a few tips that might help you find out why, so you can solve that.
