"Call blocking stopped working after iOS 26.4 update: Is Apple aware that iOS iOS 26.4 and 26.4.1 no longer allow message, email, call blocking on iPhone?"

Call Blocking No Longer Working After an Update:

Not that I've come across. So, report this to Apple. Call blocking is not a service provided by your Carrier, unless it is paid-for. So, it is likely an issue with an app you are using, or from within the iOS, itself. If you are using an app for this, then remove the app, and then add it back. Here is a Link from the FTC: How To Block Unwanted Calls - FTC.

Reporting these Calls:

In the US, you can roper these calls to the FTC and the FBI's iC3: (Internet Crime Complaint Center). Use my User Tip, for more: Using the Photos App to Report Scams: - User Tip

Report this to Apple:

Do your part: Let Apple know what is going on here. Provide them with feedback on this. They may not get back to you directly, but the more feedback they received on this, the more they will know what is going on, and what needs to be fixed in updates to come. Apple will know nothing of your occurrence, if you don't report it to them.

  1. Go Here: Feedback - iPhone - Apple
  2. Comment: that it is after installing the update when the issue began. Include the URL of this thread.
  3. Select: "Bug Report" for the "Feedback Type"
  4. Proceed from there aw necessary

"I would also like to add in addition to iOS 26.4 and iOS 26.4.1, Call blocking no longer works with messaging, emails, or phone calls, or numbers within my address book"

Blocking Calls:

What happens when you tap the hamburger logo at the top-right corner of the call log? You may have yet to set this up, or configure it through that.

Performing a Factory Reset:

Your only other option would be to factory reset this. I’d try that that if things a must, and you just can’t stop calls from coming in. You’ll just have to back items up prior to doing so. So, put that method aside, as troubleshooting may take a bit

"Call blocking stopped working after iOS 26.4 update: Is Apple aware that iOS iOS 26.4 and 26.4.1 no longer allow message, email, call blocking on iPhone? Been on the phone and email to techs at Apple since 26.4.2 and 26.5 was downloaded and can’t block emails, messages or phone numbers, tried every fix recommended but nothing worked. Have been ghosted by Apple since then and no response whatsoever in regards to this so called bug . Multi billion dollar company has lost me forever"

Tried the iOS26.5.1 update?

Jun 24, 2026 7:00 PM in response to Eyeofthetiger1

Unable to block ppl. I tried everything.

Blocking them directly by using the right sliding option, going to setting iPhone>block, or adding the contact to block them, nothing works. I already called, watched videos on YouTube and read your help site. The tech support suggested to wait for the new update, can you share when it is coming out ?. Can you please let us know what to do ?. Is there a new update coming out with the fix?. Or a new option that we have to use.

your website has old info, and there is no fix at this time.
