I received an Apple Card a while back but couldn't use it with my iphone SE. I just upgraded to a 16E. Apple Card shows up but I can't add it to my Wallet. How can I get it into the Wallet?

Hi, the physical titanium Apple Card does not have NFC and it can’t be activated and authenticated that way.
What do you think is the solution. Could the card have been made inactive because I didn't use it right away?
