Some apps on my new iPhone 17 keep crashing and fail to update

Does anyone have any real answers to why some of my apps on my iPhone 17 (less than 30 days old) crash? Why apps on the App Store won’t update at times when there was an update available? My iPhone 15 started doing this randomly while on vacation and never turned returned to normal. I then received a replacement iPhone 15 from Verizon. Less than 30 days later, it began to do the same thing. All the resetting of settings, etc. don’t work. I feel I wasted my time upgrading when I’m now having the same issues with the iPhone 17. App examples are Yahoo, Netflix, Hulu, Arlo Secure, PayPal, DoorDash, Walmart. A host of others.

Anyone know any real permanent fixes?

Perhaps a long shot:

Do you have a 3rd party VPN installed, even if you are not using it? If so, delete the VPN profile in Settings/General/VPN & Device Management/VPN, then restart your device. Don't just turn it off; delete the profile. Updates sometimes "break" VPN, and it needs to be removed. If that fixes it, you can try reinstalling VPN, but probably shouldn't.
