iPhone 16 Pro cellular issues after iOS 26.6 update
Dear Apple Coomunity,
I am seeking assistance with a cellular connectivity issue on my iPhone 16 Pro, purchased in the USA and less than two years old.
On August 8, immediately after updating to iOS 26.6, the phone stopped connecting reliably to the cellular network. There were no such issues before the update. Apple’s diagnostics indicated a possible hardware issue, and an Apple service center in Dublin advised that the phone may require a logic board replacement.
Given that the issue started immediately after the iOS update, I would like Apple to investigate whether this could be software-related before proceeding with such a major hardware replacement. I have also come across reports of similar cellular issues following iOS updates that were subsequently resolved through software updates.
Could you please confirm:
Whether Apple is aware of similar issues with the iPhone 16 Pro after iOS 26.6.
Whether a software or carrier-settings update could resolve the issue.
If a logic board replacement is necessary, whether this would be covered by Apple given the circumstances.
I would appreciate this being escalated to the appropriate technical/customer relations team for further investigation. I can provide the diagnostic report, service-center assessment, and proof of purchase if required.
I look forward to your assistance and a fair resolution.
