I upgraded too 27.0.1 battery is draining quickly and the keyboard appears to hang up on the screen. Hopefully youâll get the kinks out! đ Ty

A rapid battery drain after updating to iOS 27.0.1 can happen while the system reindexes and optimizes in the background, usually taking a day or two.
According to Apple: If you notice that your battery life has decreased after updating your device, wait a few days and then check again. Even though you can use your device immediately after an update, certain tasks related to the update continue in the background and might affect battery life and thermal performance. While they're ongoing, you might see the Insight Ongoing iOS Update in Settings âą Battery.

I am also encountering this issue on 14 pro. More than 3-4 days since I updated, battery health dropped 2%, and the drainage is crazy. Very annoying

Battery is brand new, original , and was at 100% just 3 weeks ago when I checked . I updated to 27.0.1 on 23rd Oct .
