iPhone 15 Pro notifications not working after iOS 27.0.1 update

Hello everyone,

My iPhone 15 Pro, updated to the latest available version of iOS 27 (27.0.1), suddenly stopped sending me notifications from almost all the apps I have installed.

The main ones, and the ones causing me the most problems, are WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams, and Outlook, but also Instagram, My Avs Alarm, and many others.

I have already tried everything: checking the notification settings, which are all correct (and I haven’t changed them overnight anyway), making sure that Focus modes weren’t enabled, checking Priority Notifications, reinstalling the apps, restarting the iPhone, but nothing works!

I find this really unbelievable. Has anyone else ever experienced something like this?

This has just started happening for me on my iphone 15 pro. I have tried all resolutions, other than factory reset and nothing has worked. Has anyone figured this out? Instagram, Snapchat, Whatsapp, TikTok, basically every app is not sending notifications. It is quite frustrating. Not even badges showing on the apps - I have to physically go into each one and refresh it.

I spoke to someone on the phone a few days ago and they told me the next step was to update my mac to OS 27 (I currently am on 26.6.2). Based on the replies to this thread and others, I am hesitant to update my mac and potentially cause more issues with no notification fix.

The same problem happened to me like two days ago. I have iPhone 15 pro. I didn’t update iOS or anything, just woke up and didn’t see any notifications. Then started to open apps manually and there were all the messages. WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, TikTok nothing sends notifications. Updated iOS to 26.7.2, nothing changed. Tried everything but still no result.

Very concerning, especially regarding financial activity!

Nope! I haven't started using an Apple Watch. I’ve simply continued using the one I’ve had since 2024. No new Apple Watch and no new paring...

Same for me on iPhone 15 Pro. WhatsApp, Spark, Forza and a bunch of other apps just don’t send me notifications anymore. Driving me crazy.

Same here, no notifications from Instagram, outlook, gmail, blink camera. This is ridiculous and annoying. I have done it alllll!

Same here with iPhone 15 Pro Max, updated a day ago, and missed 2 important bank notification. This shouldn't be happen at this stage of an OS. One of the most basic function of the phone is failing.
