I have an iPhone 15 with iOS 27.0.1 installed yesterday. Is there anyway to roll back the timer interface? Specifically the slider at the top. I want to be able to access my various timers but I have to start this new 15 minute timer to get to where my saved timers are.

what Chris and Bill are experiencing is a new timer UI from Control Center (swiping down from Home Screen).
for reasons passing understanding, ios27 uses a different (horizontal) slider for the Timer in CC than the one available via the Clock app. the new Timer UI (pic attached) is NOT as functional as the traditional Clock Timer, which is oddly still available via Clock if you want to bypass CC and login to your phone.
Apple: can you help users find a way to add the Clock Timer UI to Control Center? Thanks!
I’ll add that I really like this, because I can start a 10 minute or 20 minute timer by scrolling left or right. And if I want a precise time (such as 40 seconds) I just say “Siri, start a 40 second timer”. I’ve never actually opened the timer app to set a timer, I just ask Siri to do it for me.

Me as well. I only ask Siri to start a time for me. Siri can set it for any duration I want, like a 12 second or set a 7 minute and 15 seconds timer. I don't have to touch my phone at all to do this.

The *newest change to the quick access control panel timer for iOS 27.0.1 really is useless! — here’s why:
Having to precisely move a slider to your preferred timer duration takes so much more time than the old list of commonly used timers or to enter your exact preferred timer duration; I commonly start many timers simultaneously, and this new “feature” doesn’t allow me to do that. The feel is off for this new pop-down timer feature — it feels too bulky and imprecise. Please, Apple; you are actively losing my confidence in the Simple, Obvious, Straightforward, Clear and Easy ethos of Apple’s OS aesthetics. Please don’t stray too far from the original vision!!!
Please offer the ability to revert to the former style! Just anything but a slider.

Simply scroll down to find previous (saved) timers.
I would scroll down if it would let me, but it forces me to start the timer and then once the timer started, I can scroll down and see the timers.
Just to clarify, I’m dragging down from the top of my screen to get to control center and that’s where the timer widget is that I normally use.

This interface was both beautiful and very convenient. Bring it back.
