iTunes 10 - where's the color?

How can I get all the colored icons back in iTunes? The new UI looks like it came from a 1940's film or something. It's awful. I want my colors back! How can I do that?

Exactly. There have been a lot of really poor decisions made in the Mac space lately. What the heck is going on over there??

Agree 100%. Just adding my name to the list. Please give us the OPTION to use the colored icons. It was not "broken", so why trying to fix it??? to make it look like it's a brand-new "10" version?

I also think the new icon is passable at best, by the way. Looks like it was made by someone wanting to be cool in the iApps world. At least it's instantly recognizable in my dock, which is a strong quality. But the bottom left corner looks awkward/crammed at medium sizes, and the reflection line feels amateurish. Just my 2 cents, I know it's not an icon-related thread.

And what about the new way of displaying the album names to the right of the cover art?! Not simetrical and more space consuming than in 9 with the name aligned to the middle and underneath the cover art. Apple seems to be an "all or nothing" case... either it makes great or crappy stuff. No middle region whatsoever. Pretty good since they´re in the computer business: either 0 or 1.

The new interface is a real step backwards. The fact that the icons have become colourless actually makes iTunes slower to use. Previously i could quickly glance at it and jump straight to what i wanted based on the colour.

The new icon is just nasty and the vertical maximise, minimise, close buttons are INFURIATING!

Please give us back our colour.

Totally agree with everyone else here - Apple, please at least give us the option to turn on the colors for the sidebar lists and the preferences. I don't mind the new application icon, the CD had to go at some point. I expect the new iLife icons will reflect this new "circle" look, which wouldn't be that bad.

But for iTunes - I spend a ton of time in iTunes and being able to quickly go over to the sidebar and choose what I want without "reading" each one by using colors was far easier than this grey drab. Please add the colors back!

Well, I tried re-installing a UI theme I've been using, and it total screwed up the iTunes layout.
Here's a Screenshot:

I'm going to have to re-install iTunes to fix this... Btw,

There is an App called ThemePark that I think can do that, but I'm not too sure how to use it. So if someone can help me with using ThemePark, I'm sure i could recolor iTunes... somehow.
