I've tried unsuccessfully several times to add a photo to my Ping profile page, but repeatedly get an error message that says "there was a problem with the photo you submitted". I've tried photos taken with iSight, photos from my computer, but I still get the same error. Is anyone else seeing this?
MacBook Core Duo 2GHz,
Mac OS X (10.6.4),
2 GB SDRAM
same problem here ... receive exactly the same error message. Tried several times with pics from my computer and also with a opic just taken with the isight camera ...
Almost seems pointless to say this, but... Yeh, I've tried a number of times to add various different photos to my new Ping account but they all receive an error message and tell me to try again. I'm sure it'll be fixed soon
Just tried again by clicking the picture icon and not the 'add photo' button. Selected a photo as before and I now have a question mark where the picture should be and "Your picture is currently being processed" in my profile. looks promising
I had the same problem. I just restarted iTunes (mac) and then it worked.
Now I have the message "your photo is currently being processed" but I think they want to check first the photo so you cannot upload any violent or pornographic images...
I was able to get a picture loaded the first time. Ever since I tried to change the picture [I'm vain what can I say?] I am unable to get it processed successfully.
It now throws an error:
iTunes Ping is temporarily unable to process data. Please try again later.
