Ping won't add photo

Ping won't add photo

I've tried unsuccessfully several times to add a photo to my Ping profile page, but repeatedly get an error message that says "there was a problem with the photo you submitted". I've tried photos taken with iSight, photos from my computer, but I still get the same error. Is anyone else seeing this?

MacBook Core Duo 2GHz, Mac OS X (10.6.4), 2 GB SDRAM

I'm getting exactly the same problem. The little icon just spins forever and will not import the picture. Maybe there is some algorithm in iTunes 10 that has determined we're not "cute" enough..... 🙂

I'm having this very same problem, but I only see the error message after I get frustrated and navigate to another page. It just tries to upload indefinitely.

Like Jacko said, "You Are Not Alone". I'm having the same issue. Maybe the server(s) are just getting hit too hard or something and we have to wait a couple more days before we can upload a picture.

Still, ***** that it doesn't work right away. How did the other artists get their picture in there?

Yeah. I am having the same problem. I Googled "Ping error with the photo you submitted," and I found this thread. I'm glad I wasn't the only one. I thought something was wrong with the picture. Perhaps the photo has to be in a particular format? Who knows?

If you wait 10 minutes on the load page at the end you get your picture is on elaboration maybe once we will see it...

I just got iTunes 10 to accept my photo, but it says on my profile page now "Your photo is currently being processed." in the spot where the photo would go. Profile name: Jason Collin
