Cannot Sync Apple TV with New iTunes 10

Hi All,

I am nearly going crazy with this Apple TV2 - iTunes 10 drama. I have the usual: MacBook Pro with Mac OS Lion, iTunes 10.4.1, WiFi Internet connection and the new Apple TV2 (bought two weeks ago). When I first removed the Apple TV1, and connected the second version, everything was fine and I could sync the MacBook Pro with the ATV2. Then things became curious - the ATV2 disappeared from "Devices" in iTunes Preferences, but showed up as a separate icon in iTunes "Preferences". I clicked on that, and lo and behold, it showed the Apple TV was "syncing", and the "OK" tab was blinking. I clicked on it and started my TV (a Phillips) connected with the ATV2 with an HDMI cable. I received the message on the TV: "No video signal", so I left it; suddenly the ATV2 window appeared, and I could connect to the WiFi and the MacBook Pro. This has happened often since then, and each time, I have to re-input the WiFi code to connect - very frustrating. The photos and music that I can access are the ones I had with ATV1. Right now as I sit here and write this, I have the same problem as I have described above: "No video signal" on the TV screen, the Apple TV2 light is blinking, on iTunes I am being told that the syncing is taking place and the OK button is blinking.

Even when I can see ATV2, I have no control over what is being synched. The dreaded lurgy was easier to resolve.

I'm getting very tired of this. If this is an Apple support group, then surely there are people here from Apple who can help. I have NEVER had a problem with any of my Mac products until ATV2, and really hope that this one can be solved soon. I see a lot of people have the same, or similar, problem. I have tried all the possible solutions posted above, but to no avail.
