Printer Install Fails - This computer does not have the necessary USB...

I have installed Windows 7 x64 via Bootcamp 3.1. I have all necessary drivers running and all of my USB devices are working as expected.

However, when I attempt to install my HP Printer (HP Photosmart B109n-z)software it immediately fails with the following message...

"This computer does not have the neccessary USB software support to allow completion of a USB installation. The installation cannot continue until this is resolved."

I have also run "usbready.exe" from Intel (the tool is also on my HP printer driver CD) to check the USB status of my iMac and despite all of my USB devices working it reports the following...

System Hardware Support
Cannot Determine system hardware configuration

USB Driver Support
USB Driver connection is NOT operating correctly

Can someone please help? I am unable to use this printer at the moment 😟

This worked great, however I had to work around the newer HP application installers,(Deskjet F2400 Series and up) on the instructions, it states to choose where to extract the files, but in my case the installer extracted without asking into my %temp% folder, SO, basically what i did is I ran the setup, first thing it does is extracts the files. Right after it does this is where I usually got stuck with the whole usb issue, and while I had that opened, even at the error screen of the setup, while that is open on win xp or win 7 hit window r (window is the key between ctrl and alt on your standard (pc) keyboard, new mac keyboard its command and R. Ok, so that will open "Run" and in the box type %temp% and this will open up your temporary files folder, you will see alot of junk in that folder, but the one you are looking for will be in the form of numbers and letters, the best way to find it is by date created/modified. I found it by looking at the date and time created, I opened the folder and noticed HP wordage with my printer series, so that for sure was the setup files i needed to see, so now you can continue with the other steps and that is deleting, moving renaming, I chose to simply rename the usbready.exe to dontuse, and ran the setup.exe and BAM! worked perfect! Thanks to everyone on this and many other threads about this, and componsation to the magic makers of this solution is very necessary! Thanks Apple!!
