iPad will not turn on

My iPad will not power on. I have handled it very carefully. I checked my email on it in the morning, turned it off, then tried to turn it back on about an hour later with no luck. Any ideas?

HI,

Connect it to an wall outlet to make sure the battery is charging.

Or, connect to your computer and see if that helps.

Try resetting the iPad. Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
