Random bell sound

For the past week or so my iPhone 3GS has made a random bell noise a little after 12pm every day. I've never heard the sound before and when I turn phone on there is no message or anything. I manually closed all the apps in the quick launch bar and turned phone on and off and it is still happening. Is this happening to anyone else? Any idea what is causing it? Is my iPhone going senile?

HP Pavillion 9000, Windows Vista, iPhone 3GS

Agreed...its a good app but that is a very stupid default setting. Glad I could help.

Thanks also from me! For a while there I thought I was going senile!

I was in the process of checking all my apps to see what might be running during this time, but not having any luck.

Maybe the developer will fix this.

Hi,

I'm the developer of appbzr and I just stumbled over this thread.
This behaviour is not intended. You should receive a bage, a message and a sound with every push.
This seems to be a bug - we will fix this as soon as possible.

I also have this problem!
My iphone 4 does this bell sound but i dont have this app you are talking about.
What else can it be?

7 years later I too am having this Christmas bell ring and news on what it could have been back then
