Genius Sidebar(need it back!!!)

Hi all,

I'm also missing the Genius Sidebar!

I am "not amused" about suddenly having a Ping Sidebar 😟

If Apple decides to add a new feature, they should allow the users to keep a prevoius feature and not just remove it!

Anybody have an idea on how to get the feature back?

Another unhappy user. I don't want Ping or its sidebar. At least we should have the option of which, if any, sidebar displays.

I agree I want the Genius Sidebar back. It was a great resource for finding and BUYING music. This was a lame attempt to jump on the social networking craze and I will NEVER use Ping it is completely worthless to me.

Just wanted to add my support for the rebirth of the Genius Sidebar and the death of another completely unneede social network in Ping.

Yes yes, please put it back! Must have it, it is how I find new music. It is the perfect search-tool. I buy hundreds of tracks with it! Apple and iTunes crew; look at your stats, I can't be the only one using this brilliant tool!!! Put the sidebar back!!! I do not use Ping, I have browsed the thing, but I have no interest in it. The Genius function however is perfect.

Seems to me that people have been complaining about this for a while and apple hasn't even gotten back with a statement saying they are even listening. Why would they listen to the users???????? Apple is just a more expensive way to get a similar product anyways. They don't care, as long as they make money, they will never care.

I want my genius sidebar so I can pay for more songs!!! Why would apple want less revenue!!???

The Ping Sidebar is useless. I cannot tell you how many times I put an old cd into iTunes to rip it, and it listed a bunch of iTunes tracks available by the same artist that I did not realize were on iTunes. I ended up spending quite a bit on tracks that I wanted by Genius Bar recommendations. Ping doesn't recommend anything, and I really could care less what other people are listening to. I also doubt that anyone cares what I am listening to. The ability to share what you are listening to or liking on FaceBook is fine, Ping is a waste of time. Apple really needs to bring the Genius Bar back or they will lose significant revenue from buyers who did what I was doing.
