How do I get the remote to stop controlling my Computer, and only control my AppleTV?

Keith Says:

"The point of pairing is if you have two devices that you want to control with their own remotes in the same room. Otherwise, just disabling the remote sensor on the ones you don't want to be controlled is the best solution."

Right, but even though the A-TV 2 is paired to its designated silver remote, the A-TV 2 remote still works the iPod plugged into the dock.

Too bad the remote didn't have, say an A, B, C, so you could just switch the signal to control various devices.

Oh well, no company is perfect.

my Apple tv remote decided to start controlling my computer after i updated my time capsule (don't know if it's related) but i can't find anything on my mac to turn this off. i have gone into settings>>security and there is nothing about an infrared remote. i have an early 2009 mac with osx 10.7.5. it's really annoying having itunes play random things while i try to watch content on my apple tv
