Not happy - way to go Apple. My MBP is about to die and I have £2k sitting in the bank waiting to buy an MBP i7 but it clearly shows I may as well just keep my current 2007 MBP and my £2k.

We wait 9 months for an update from Apple and yet Ableton manage to update their software ever other month or so as I'm out by 2 revisions on my Ableton.

Do you mean dual quads (8 cores) or quads as 4 cores.
I have 8 cores here and I'm not shure what to do...

4 cores total, either mac pro or iMac i7.

8 core machines, no real change.

Hi Sampleconstruct .... "for the avoidance of all doubt".... you seem to be running the same Mac Pro as me( 2 x 3ghz Quad Core Intel Xeon Mac Pro version 3,1) ...... is that the Quad Core Mike C is referring to has problems? I still find an ambiguity but you seem to have a positive reply to Mike's note ........ which actual MacPro has the problem with 9.1.2 hyperthreading and Cores?

Not to defend Apple, but I think that other than 2 nice tricks that sound so-so Ableton NEEDS to update their toy frequently as they can´t make it sound decently yet. IMHO, thats it.

This doesn´t mean that this program is perfect, but it´s a lot better than Live which is a DJ app that also does other stuff. Stable as a rock, has to be said.

Then, Apple, go and fix PDC please.

...so that is the first "improvement" stricken from the list. Bummer.

Any comment from anyone "closer to the fire"? Blueberry? 21st Century? David? This seems like a promise that isn't there - at all. So is it going to be fixed, or is the release document going to be edited?

Even 'bummerer' is the near certainty that nobody will/can/may answer the above questions... 😟

9.1.2 is here!!!
