Can't log into itunes account? can't download apps for iphone?

Message " We could not complete your itunes request. The network connection timed out"

Make sure your network settings are correct and your network connection is active, then try again.

Can anyone help?

windows, Windows Vista, also iphone4

Has any 1 got an update on the connection errors with itunes. I have tried every sugestion going. Even did a system restore on my laptop incase it was that but with no luck. I can only think it Apples end and hopefully an update will come sone.

So changing the security settings on your BT router/hub didn't do anything?

Just a suggestion. It might not apply to you, but i am here in the us and had the same issue and what fixed was the dns settings on the router. I switched to google dns or open dns and things seem to be working now. Don't know if that's been tried already.

Okay this probably sounds dumb, but I have had the same problem with logging in from iphone (and everything else) for about the time this post showed up -- and it seems they lost part of my CC info. Once I remedied that, I was able to log in for updates/additions to apps. I am not very tech savvy but didn't see this here so I thought I would toss it in the ring.
