I have tried the SMC reset and the CMD+alt+P+R restart multiple times, but after a few days, I loose connection to bluetooth mouse etc. No bluetooth available...
In the beginning there was weeks between it happened, now it is days. I now tried to reset sleep settings, i did a disc repair, and a cleanmymac too. Let's see if it works...
Yesterday I tried above, and now I lost blutooth connection again after mac was in sleep mode :-( The bluetooth sign in the menu bar says that I'm connected, but I am not. Mouse is not working, and other BT devices are not connected either...
Someone please tell me what to do????
PS: I have an iMac from november 2010 27" i7...
This worked for me.
1. Shut down.
2. Disconnect main power (pull the plug.)
3. Press power button and hold for 10 seconds (do this twice)
4. Reconnect main power.
5. Press power button.
When it came back on, the Bluetooth worked and my Apple Magic Mouse was happy again.
