No Backlit Keyboard? GLOSSY screen????!!!!!

Omitting the backlit keyboard was a HUGE mistake on your part. Additionally, the Macbook Air was the last bastion at Apple for those of us who prefer (and rightly so) MATTE finish displays. A glossy display on an ultraportable is like Christmas in July - it just doesn't belong.

I'll be holding out until someone at Apple comes to their senses and re-installs the backlit keyboard. I guess I'll get quite a few more miles with my Rev. C Macbook Air after all......... 8-(

Yes and i remember at the beginning of that thread, back then, people being rude to people who wanted that feature back it,s a lot more than a nice to have feature, sounds more like a must have: i've bought a backlit keyboard for my pc too...

So i returned my mba with no backlit keyboard within 14 days or so , and bought another one when it came back with a backlit keyboard..mid 2011 release.
