Error -9813

Every time I try to check for available downloads, I'm told 'could not complete your request, error -9813.' I've found the meaning of many other error codes, but not this one. Anyone know?

macbook pro, Mac OS X (10.5.8)

multiple computers and phones, same results:
- iTunes accounts linked to CC work fine
- iTunes accounts linked to paypal create error in iTunes and on Phone.

i think it's absolutely ridiculous that they tell you reinstall the OS for 2 root certificate files. Even if this was the problem (sorry Apple support, this is not the issue this time) i don't understand why you just can't download the needed replacement files.

I am having this issue too. My error started when I tried to purchase from Apple TV with my itunes account. Just wondering if everyone here has Apple TV with a current TV season pass? Could there be an incompatibility with the new Apple TV software not having season pass?

I have also tried reinstalling the system software, repairing the keychain and even trying to change my itunes password - but no luck.

Strange that my iphone 4 and ipad still work.

Count another one in for (-9813). Macbook Pro, 10.5.8. I can access itunes just fine on my iphone, but not on this mac. I can download podcasts, I have replaced the keychain docs from another computer (same system), no change. It's driving me crazy. I have gone through many of the posts and tried many of the suggestions, but nothing works. I thought this was computer-related because it works on my iphone, but with all these posts, it sure seems to be an Apple problem.

I am having the same issue. Called support and was a disaster! Idiots had no idea what the problem was. Two calls later, a reinstalled OS and several safari resets later, nothing has worked! Got supervisor on the phone and he is claiming there is an itunes server problem. Funny, I can get to itunes and purchased songs from the itunes just fine. That doesn't sound like a server problem to me! Calling back..will post what I find out.
