iPhone headphones won't pause songs but can raise/lower volume.

I have recently updated to 10.1 and noticed that my iPhone headphones no longer play/pause music when I press the middle button. The other buttons work though, I can raise and lower the volume. I tried it on my iPhone, so I know its not the headphones. I also checked the headphones port for debris. Any ideas on what I should do?

MacBook Pro 13 Inch, Mac OS X (10.6.2), iPhone 4 16GB, 5th Gen 80GB iPod

Problem solved by updating to EFI Firmware Update 2.0.

How about for the new iMacs? It's my work computer and I constantly have to talk to people and get up. Will the firmware work with them?
