iPad not charging via PC

Yup.

Did you read the mAh reading of the iPad battery? Do you know the current provided by a standard USB port? Do you know the current provided by a standard iPad charger? Do you know why that matters?

Where did I say I refuse that? I'm talking about the situations that the wall plug is forgotten at home or is damaged (yes they are not that strong either) or something else.

I'm talking about being a developer and have to wait to work.

If you are a developer, you might consider the work to be important enough to keep a power adapter at your place of work, as well as one at home. Or ensure your iPad is fully charged before you take it from the house.

Your iPad is exactly like all other devices that require the same or more power. If a device requires 2 amps to charge at a decent rate, it makes no difference who made it.

If you already have a power adapter at work, and need an option, keep two of them. I have never had an Apple power adapter fail, since my Newton and the first Apple laptop.

Yes, good solution: "buy another charger, spend more money".

About the first paragraph, I've already told that I work with another devices that need the same or more power...

Purchasing an additional charger will cost ~$20. That's not much to spend to have some peace of mind, especially if it comes down to being able to work or not to work.
