PowerPoint 2010 keeps crashing

Wow. Thank goodness for smart geeks and the internet community. After I tried repairing my PP installation I simply Googled the crash issue and 15 minutes later I'm good to go. I swear the key to being smart is not being afraid to ask smarter people!

You were right on! Thanks . What a wierd problem. total crash, no matter re-installing everything!

but your fix worked. I had to add US language and make it the default to make the 'not enabled' go away, but finally, power point works.

really wierd, you are very clever to have found that fix.
