I downloaded cydia on my iPhone 4 today. but i don't want it anymore, i don't like it and the fact that you have to connect it to the pc when you reboot the device is driving me mad. please if anyone can help me remove it from my iphone completely, it would be great.

From on the device I believe you can create an account for the AppStore without needing a credit card. I know I have an account as does my younger brother, he doesn't have a credit card and I didn't use mine yet we are both able to download free apps.

To everyone else, he is trying to figure out how to UNjailbreak is device (ie returning it to the way Apple wanted it) so I think Apple will let this discussion slide.

Actually, this isn't exactly true. Apple would want you to believe that by jailbreaking your device that it voids the warranty. However, the practice of voiding warranties because you jailbroke your device doesn't jive with the Magnusson-Moss Act of 1975 - google that if you need more information.

At the same time, car dealers will tell you that if you don't use their inflated, over-priced service departments for routine maintenance like oil changes, the manufacturer will void your warranty. Again, the letter of the law says differently (See Magnusson-Moss). But, much like the Apple fanboys on here, many car buyers buy into this BS and the dealers make untold billions each year buying into the consumer fear that their warranty will be voided if they use an independent shop for maintenance.

My advice, put down the kool-aid and drink the water.

You seem to believing that if you hack your BMW computer control system then BMW would be obliged to fix it for you. This is not about using a non Apple charger which you are comparing it to.

I am sure that lots of members here know how to delete most jailbreaks, although not all can be fixed. But we are visitors on apples forum, if folks want other advice there are plenty of other sources.

Cydia can be removed by one way. You can remove it by resetting you device settings which can be done from your device itself without a need of computer or Mac . doing a setting reset will not reset your device to its defaults but just removes the jailbroken tweaks like Cydia etc. But remember it doesn't remove the tweaks which you installed in your settings like Activator etc.
