Keynote file size limitation

I just upgraded to iOS4 and Keynote 1.3 for the iPad. When I try to copy a presentation over using iDisk I get the message

This file is too large
This file can not be viewed on your iPad because it is over 30MB.

I have image files that are bigger than that, let alone movies. Where does this limitation come from?

I recently bought the ipad 2 thinking I would present from it as well in Keynote. I had the same 30 mb message in iDisk. So I tried Box.net where I have an account. I had an 89 MB PPT presentation that loaded immediately. I had one slide with a link to video and that did not transfer, but all else did beautifully. In box.net on the iPad you can open the file in Keynote. No problem. Took a couple of minutes, but all is well. Now if I could only get more fonts...
