Adobe Flash Player...

Hi All,

I was wondering if anyone knew when the Adobe Flash Player would be available for the ipad. The reason I want to know is my kids both have ipads but cant play Club Penguin on them due to the flash player not being available.

Any information greatly appreciated...

Oh, wow, where to start ..... oh, I know, I'll start with my poker buddy, proud owner of all things techie and whose life seemingly revolves around Flash games. He had to wait for android 2.2 to be able to use Flash, then had to change hardware to take advantage of it. His experience? Most games play okay, a lot don't. Some video plays okay, but a lot won't play at all, frequently jamming his system totally. Finally, it does suck his battery down like crazy; in his own words, "I never get too far away from my wall charger".

Think that's just him? Google keywords like 'flash android experiences' or anything close to that, see just how well everyone else seems to think it's working. Strange how many folks wind up saying something like "Y'know, maybe ol' Steve J. was right after all .....".

Suffice it to say they've already satisfies this customer.

I call BS. Everyone is just jumping on the steve jobs flash hate wagon.

I have had an evo for a couple months, I work in an office so it get's used constantly, it's always streaming flash videos, or im browsing the web and using flash apps.

I have many web flash apps bookmarkerd like cnet speed test stocks, and fantasy football.

I have yet to haver a problem, and my battery lasts all day everyday, I plug it in in the car on the way to and from work, and when I sleep, and I use it alot for nav, videos, browsing calling and texting.

I don't believe blogs about haters. I put the product in my hand and see for myself. I own an ipad, many bloggers lists tons of resons it is no good. I disagree, because I own onr and they are wrong or lying.

Just like my evo, and flash.

Finally! Someone who can help...can't wait to dump this iPad and get a reliable (not to mention ethical) touch screen pc with Windows 7! I have read the so so so many earlier post and answers about the adobe flash problem apple has with their iPad! To no avail...there is no fix or except able solution apparently!
Apple! Including adobe flash with the ipad is a no brainer and from what I read in these discussions..it appears apple uses consistent intermittence to insert the blame on adobe for their problem actually suggesting adobe is at fault for not developing a flash that works with the iPad which of course is incomprehensible ! Apple...hello!... it's your product...not adobe's...apple U "made" the iPad so i am confident I am not alone (by far) when i say U should be held accountable to make it work as the advertising leads u on to believe it is a full operating stand alone system fully compatible with the Internet (not to mention thousands of games which require flash)...and to omit this information upfront and loudly!..is disgusting! Consumers are not idiots! I bought an iPad expecting to actually visit and work within countless of websites!...only to get there and be "informed" that I need to download adobe FLASH!..i am so very fed up with seeing that message over and over! I am selling my iPad with clear information regarding it's substantial and crippling limitations outlined!

That verbose post translates to one thing - you didn't do your homework before making your purchase.
