Login to mobileme

Apple TV 2nd generation does not log into MobileMe Gallery password protected folders. When entering username and password it returns not recognised. This does not happen when logging into Gallery using a Mac or PC.

Can anybody provide a solution

Mac, Mac OS X (10.6.5)

OK, agter reading previous posts again and this one http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=764931 I got it to work by making sure there are photos in the MM Gallery. Thanks

i'm in the same boat at tom629. lots of family photos i would love to see with the apple tv screensaver, but would prefer to not have them accessible to the whole internet.

since you have to log in to mlb, moble me, itunes account to get prime features of the apple tv, is shouldn't be difficult to provide access to private photo folders (especially the ones created to be "seen by me" in iphoto), with the proper id and password.

Hi, after I struggled with the same issue for a while, eventually I found a working solution, which I like to share.

In fact, Apple made the MobileMe account name case sensitive. The solution is to add an account in AppleTV / Internet / MobileMe in lower letters, e.g. surname.name and without "@me.com".

Once this account is added, you can enter the respective UN and PW of the protected gallery you want to access.
