Account Disabled

Over Thanksgiving, someone hacked my account and was able to get unauthorized access and make a purchase of $50.00 from my account without my permission.

Since then my account was disabled by Apple. Every time I try and make a purchase from the App Store on my iPhone 4, I get the error message "You cannot buy because your account is disabled". I contacted iTunes support over a week ago through Express Lane, which appears to be the only way to contact them, and still have yet to receive a reply back about reactivating my account.

Is there any number to call, and is there any thing I can do besides wait for a response through Express Lane? They make the claim that they respond to all questions within 24 hours, but this is over a week ago and I am getting frustrated that I cannot make purchases, download free apps, or update my existing apps.

I would contact them again.

There is no phone number.

This is crazy. I'm on Day 11 of being disabled after they allowed my account to become compromised via the gift card hacking. First e-mail was responded to within the same day and they disabled my account at that point. Sent in the answers to the questions to have it re-enabled 11 days ago and not a word since. I've been sending e-mails daily now and getting the automated acknowledgement e-mails, but NO real responses yet. I can't believe any other company would get away with this downright heinous treatment of paying customers!!!

Add me to this list. My card was stolen and among the purchases were iTunes gift cards. Without warning my account was disabled. I got several responses from many itunes support reps all saying that once the account is disabled it cannot be enabled again. Very automated types of responses.


Absolutely amazing apple is treating it's customers so poorly.

Add me to the list of unhappy Itunes users that had fraudulent charges on there credit card. I have had my account disabled for the 2nd time in two weeks. I have requested support via the espress lane but have has poor support. I have followed there request to set my user ID to an e-mail (had my ID for a long time and hate to see it go).


This online only support for Itunes *****!. Shame on you Apple!!!!!!!! With the price paid for your hardware I expect better support from you on all of your services.
