myinfo.apple.com not responding

myinfo.apple.com not responding

I can get on the Internet fine, but when I try to download a free copy of iBooks, it says that my account information needs to be updated and redirects me to myinfo.apple.com
I then get a message that the server stopped responding.
If I try to go to that page on my PC it also says that the server isn't responding.
What do I try next?

I was also having this problem, and still can't access the page. But signing up to post in this forum prompted me to update the info it was asking for without trying to access myinfo.apple.com. Now when I go back to the App Store it allows me to sign in.

It's down again. I've tried repeatedly within the past 20 minutes and keep the getting the dreaded "server is not responding" message.

The same is happening here. Is this a known issue with the server or a configuration of the account?
So much for getting an iphone, when you have to log on to do anything, and you cant even do that.

Same problem here. Just bought an iphone but my itunes account hasn't been used in a while.

Asks me to update my security info but can't sign into myinfo.apple.com. I've tried about 30 times in the last 24 hours at all times of day.

Highly frustrating as i can't begin to make the most out of the phone!

Dissapointed first customer to apple.

I just bought an iPod Touch and have tried all evening to set it up without success. It either times out after I have entered my Apple ID and password or when I eventually click on "accept terms" it then says that it cannot connect to their server. Any ideas welcomed.

hey, its working now. The server must have been busy or down.
I'm glad I'm setting this up for my husband before Christmas day. I am sure it will be busy that day! lol

Same problem here. Bought an iPad and haven't been able to download a thing in two days! I get the same messages but the info page won't load! Aauugghh!
