Dynex Mini Display Port to HDMI Adapter to 32'' LG TV

I recently bought an HDMI output from my Macbook Pro to use on my LG 32'' TV. I connect it, and the screen refreshes and turns blue, but the TV is saying no signal. I open up Display options in System Preferences and click on Gather Windows and Detect Displays and still nothing shows up on the TV. Any help and or advice?

I just bought my Pro. It's a 13' 7,1 2010 Thanks.

I agree, mine stopped working after about a year... replaced my Dynex with RocketFish... According to Best Buy, they no longer carry Dynex for the mini display port to HDMI connector...

Hello Christianransopher,

Were you able to resolve the issue? I have a same setup with Dynex Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter. Initialy it worked fine and I was able to see the "Arrangments" tab and click "Mirror Image", now when I connect to my LG LED TV via HDMI cable the screen on my MacBookPro turns blue for a second and I can't find the "Arrangement" tab in the Display under System Preferences. I tried almost everything, power on/off change input etc, but have not tried the PRAM. Will a PRAM reset work? I am new to this one and don't want to try if it will not work. Any help will be appreciated.
