ITUNES APP STORE WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD WITH EXISTING APPLE ID

Hey,

I've been trying to create a free itunes app store account. First I read the instructions in this link : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534, but the link shows how to create a new account, the problem is that I already have a Apple ID.

On the other hand when I try to sign in in the app store with my existing Apple ID, I get the message "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store please review your account information" with two options "cancel" and "review".

Clicking in review, I go to the page with the terms of service, continuing I go to a page where I have to type my email, my password, question and answer for the password and my birth date. The email field has the email that is being used with my current Apple ID, and the password field has the password of my existing Apple ID. The other fields are blank. Completing them, and clicking in next I go to the payment options page, but there's no "none" option, so I can't make a account withou using a credit card.

Is there a way to create a itunes app store without a credit card with my existing apple ID, or a I have to create a new one ?

There is a GOD! I have a brand new 2 week old iPad new an I followed everything I needed to do and ended up with this same problem, knowing how to set up iPads an never had this problem before I just couldn't understand what was happening but I took it 1 step further, after several attempts to enter an existing ID (everything you posted) I tried creating a new ID but the same thing kept happening, after several attempts (ID's) I can no longer create anymore ID's on this new iPad that is mine, $699.00 dollars an cant use an don't know what to do next, ready to destroy, Grrr

Is there some reason you want to keep creating AppleIDs?

One is all you will need.

Just use your orignal AppleID.

I think I'm done with this computer. I changed over from PCs to Macs and I am having the same problems with entering this credit card business-- I DON'T WANT APPLE TO HAVE MY CREDIT CARD INFORMATION!!! This is EXTREMELY frustrating. Along with a few other stupid things that really bug me and I think I will be going back to PCs. I wish I could help everyone in this thread but it would be changing a company's business practices and fat chance of that happening.

I had the same problem, but I solved it this way :

-> System preferences -> iCloud -> Manage ( in the right bottom corner ) -> View account -> enter your Apple ID with password -> Apple ID Summary will appear and there you can edit your Payment information I added there all my personal information and chose 'None' and now I am downloading something with free license from App Store without any credit card.

Hope this will works for you.
