ITUNES APP STORE WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD WITH EXISTING APPLE ID

Hey,

I've been trying to create a free itunes app store account. First I read the instructions in this link : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534, but the link shows how to create a new account, the problem is that I already have a Apple ID.

On the other hand when I try to sign in in the app store with my existing Apple ID, I get the message "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store please review your account information" with two options "cancel" and "review".

Clicking in review, I go to the page with the terms of service, continuing I go to a page where I have to type my email, my password, question and answer for the password and my birth date. The email field has the email that is being used with my current Apple ID, and the password field has the password of my existing Apple ID. The other fields are blank. Completing them, and clicking in next I go to the payment options page, but there's no "none" option, so I can't make a account withou using a credit card.

Is there a way to create a itunes app store without a credit card with my existing apple ID, or a I have to create a new one ?

Actually, there is a NONE. The problem is that Apple doesn't tell you the work around or give you the option until it is too late. When setting up an apple id without providing a CC number and receiving the NONE in the payment option. You must first go to the app store, select a free app to download, a screen will appear for you to input your apple id and pw. Which you do not have. So at this time, on this screen you create the apple id, it will then take you through the next few screens and give you the NONE option. If you first create the apple id, validate the apple id in email, THEN go and finish the process it will NOT provide the NONE you must provide a CC number. If you choose to go the normal route in setting up an apple id account you will be forced to provide them with a CC number, you can then go back and edit your apple id profile and select NONE. HOWEVER, your CC number is now and forever more in Apples Database and free for the taking. So, WHY do they need my CC number to create an account if I can go back and say NONE. Sounds like Apple is looking to capture as much of your data as possible. Thank goodness I am an Android user and stick with the Play Store where this type of activity does not take place. Good luck. Oh, and if Apple did monitor these sites and FIX the issues then this would have been fixed YEARS ago. But, at the end of the day, they have you. If you were able to go from a flip phone or blackberry to an iphone years ago you can make the leap from the iphone to another platform. It is not that hard and trust me you will spend a lot less time talking to Apple and sitting on cell phone forums.
