ITUNES APP STORE WITHOUT A CREDIT CARD WITH EXISTING APPLE ID

Hey,

I've been trying to create a free itunes app store account. First I read the instructions in this link : http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534, but the link shows how to create a new account, the problem is that I already have a Apple ID.

On the other hand when I try to sign in in the app store with my existing Apple ID, I get the message "This Apple ID has not yet been used with the iTunes Store please review your account information" with two options "cancel" and "review".

Clicking in review, I go to the page with the terms of service, continuing I go to a page where I have to type my email, my password, question and answer for the password and my birth date. The email field has the email that is being used with my current Apple ID, and the password field has the password of my existing Apple ID. The other fields are blank. Completing them, and clicking in next I go to the payment options page, but there's no "none" option, so I can't make a account withou using a credit card.

Is there a way to create a itunes app store without a credit card with my existing apple ID, or a I have to create a new one ?

Just made some experiment to solve the problem.. I signed in in the iCloud using the device and the account i want to use in the apps store and after successfuly signing in, i tried to download a free app, and the i used the account to sign in, and again it went through the review account window but an option "none" is now available in the payment option.

hope this will work also with others..

Thank GOD your solution worked! Guys if you don't have iCloud, then use his solution it's easy and works for some strange reason.

Chris_PA or whatever, you have helped no one nor contributed to a solution in all of your posts, and rich did in one post. And in your posts with picture logs, the screen that supposedly said None is clearly titled Edit Payment Info, when pictures with our screen said Review Payment Info. You were incorrect in recreating our problem.

-Chris, you were useless and a waste of time to read

-Thank you rich44, your solution works (especially useful if you don't have iCloud)

-Case CLOSED!

(blah, blah, blah, bunch useless garbage)

So you did not bother to even read (and can't seem to read correctly) what I posted. You just like pictures...

I have an existing AppleID I have not yet used with iTunes (the title and main point of this thread)

When I log into iTunes with this ID...

Yet you did read it and found it useful enough to even respond!

Thanks!

Glad I could get you sorted and on the right track.

Good luck! 😁

Hey,

I was gifted a free album by a band and can't claim it on iTunes without a credit card. Nice work Apple.

I solved the issue though. I downloaded it as a torrent. Gotta love it, I've been authorized for a download, but had to revert to downloading by other means.

I also solved the issue by deleting iTunes off my PC and sticking with VLC as my media player.

Did you guys realize that the Android store doesn't have these stupid issues. I've never had a problem like this with a download from the Google Play Store on my phone or from the Windows 8 Store on my PC.

Apple has once again proven why companies like Google and Microsoft have more customers.

😝

Uh, yes you can.

So you stole from the band that was kind enough to gift you something? They didn't get credit (read: popularity and tracking stats) through iTunes.

Great piece of work you are.

Did you realize that we don't care?
