iPhone 4 alarm not working since 01.01.2011

It's *Jan 3,* Eastern Standard Time of 8:40am _*AND IT IS STILL NOT WORKING.*_

I, too, had a non-recurring alarm set for today (Mon, Jan 3) at 6 AM and it did not go off. I thought it was a recurring alarm, but after double-checking it was not. Still, though, I thought I was safe with all alarms starting Jan 3. Was it because I set it on Jan 2 to go off on Jan 3?

Dear Friends, I know it's a bit late, but it seems working fine in my iphone 3G version 4.2.1. Actually, I found out the alarm problem long time ago when I install 4.2.1, so at that time I set this: Settings > General > Date & Time > Set automatically to "Off" and check the time manually once, maybe that's why my mobile alarm works fine on 01.01.2011 till now.

Good news. My alarm is working now. The time setting is on automatic, and I set it for a non-recurring alarm.

Is any third-party alarm app? I just missed a flight due to this issue.

Reboot fixed it for me today. Worked for my daughter in different time zone too.

I hadn't heard there was a glitch with the alarm so last night I set my alarm as usual knowing that it was extremely important to get up on time. I am a deputy prosuecutor and the newly elected prosecutor wanted us all at work this morning to be sworn in at 7:30 am. So you can imagine my panic when I woke up over a half hour late because my alarm didn't go off. Being late and having to get sworn in seperate from everyone else was NOT the first impression I wanted to make. Luckily I made it just in time, but there were others who didn't. All iPhones have AT&T service. Couldn't apple have asked AT&T to send out a text or something to say the alarm wasn't working? People really depend on alarms. I've also read that the problem was supposed to be fixed today. Obviously, it is not. This was a big let down.

Non-recurring alarms - *set after midnight Jan 2* - work correctly for me. I have a feeling that it's important that the alarms have to be set after midnight, and not just use old settings.

What's more, the recurring function works as normal in this setting too.

And then set a non-recurring alarm today and test it.

It's back to normal now. No update or anything. Just happen to work. Hopefully it will not happen again.

Iphone 3GS with latest firmware. Alarm did not work on Jan 3rd.

I reset it and it worked the 2nd time. I did not set it as recurring. But did reset the same alarm.

Alarm now seems to work but tomorrow will tell.

It isn't just the new update, I just updated mine yesterday because of this problem and it didn't fix it either. So the previous update 4.1 failed to set myvalarms off since 1-1-11 too.
