iPhone 4 alarm not working since 01.01.2011

Hard power off/ reboot. Mine is now working.

I believe that a reboot of the phone will fix this definitely. iPhones work fine here.

Chiming in- I just purchased a replacement phone yesterday. Set the alarm last night for this morning and it did not go off.

Mine (iPhone 4 with IOS 4.2.2)is also working...

My concern is +how reliable it is+ I mostly use it when travelling (at home I have an alarm clock) and it is there when it is more critical that I can rely on it.

As of 9:45 CDT my alarm is working again. I was one of the lucky ones that I got up in time to get to work on time this morning thanks to my own internal clock. I think I will look into some backup options, just to be safe.

I read about this yesterday and set two alarms for this morning. Both of them were non-recurring. The earlier one worked and the later one did not.

My iPhone 4 is working without issue. Fully updated to the latest version.

All I did was delete all of my old alarms and make new ones.

I created a new "one time" alarm and it worked just fine. Using an old alarm (where I change the times now and then) worked as well. I guess the "bug" is now gone. I did not reboot the phone or anything like that. (3Gs with the latest iOS).

WOW! Unbelievable. It's Monday morning 1/3/11 and I was late for work because my iPhone alarm didn't go off! Is Apple going to compensate everyone for this? How many people suffered lost work hours trhis morning due to their faulty product?

Four new iphone4's for Christmas. Not only will they not sync on my 3 year old iMac running Tiger 10.4.11 (although apparently they work with old windows OS such as XP.) but the alarm failed to go off on two of them this morning. This caused my daughter to miss her ferry. This is the same clock app. that is on the ipod touch and has always worked. I had no doubt it would work on the Iphone.
I had been so happy with mac after switching from a PC I started singing its praises. Got two neighbours to buy macs. One good friend to buy his daughter an Macbook Pro. I bought my daughter an Macbook Pro for university. Had my sister buy an iMac and 3 Macbook pros for her kids and this is how Mac treats loyal customers. I can't use my new Macintosh product with a 3 year old iMac. Give me a break! Now I'm singing different tune and its not an itune because my 15 year old can't download songs to her iPone which wont wake her up.

Problem solved for me. However people still having the problem may be able to fix it first by doing a hard reset on the phone. Hold the lock and home button until the phone restates. This will cause the phone to dump it's storedtemporaryfilwsand may soave the problem.

If it doesn't, restore the phone. Manwhile as a backup, the countdown timer works well.

iPhone alarm for a single set alarm is now working. I am not sure why or how, but it is working on my iPhone 4.

Can someone try to set the date manually to 1-1-2012 and then create a new "one time" alarm and test if it works.

For me it does not work = bug remains
