LOGIC 10 FEATURE SUGGESTIONS!!!

Sent out a music producer survey and here's a list of features we really hope will be considered for Logic 10:

1. A user interface overhaul
2. A massive core audio upgrade
3. A major improvement on audio & instrument editing features, especially for editing and creating custom drum sounds etc etc!!!
4. Far superior automation & panning features
5. Multiple mixer screen views and options especially waveform view in the metering aspect
6. Deeper range of color options to color code project/session data
7. More customizable options for the logic user interface like interface skins or ways of using custom gfx like logo's and custom color schemes to make ones logic user interface more unique!!!
8. More consistent and useful updates that add new features as well as improving older ones!!!

Logic 10 needs a new apple forum community with requirements to join, like the serial number from your copy of Logic Studio is required or something, like the Steinberg Cubase and Image-Line FL Studio forum registration requirements, so that all users are confident they are dealing with other legitimate users and not pirates that need troubleshooting or assistance with their cracked software.

Mmm - I do know what you mean, but that would preclude anyone asking questions pre-purchase, for example and I'm generally against any further regulation of the internet - I know you're not suggesting anything sinister, but I think we have to accept that pirates, hackers, trolls etc are an unfortunate part of the internet experience.

Considering how the user level of this Forum has been trashed (many professionals have left) I'd have to mostly agree with audioveritas... Running a professional forum doesn't even come close to regulation of the Internet.

Rampant Logic piracy has made this place nearly unlivable, plus the fact that Apple doesn't seem to care as long as it sells hardware, is disappointing to longtime users of the software. I didn't say it was a deal breaker, but it is disappointing. I've been on the many of the other forums and I'm certainly not the only one who feels this way.

Yes, of course, I agree totally.

In fact I've become pretty disillusioned myself by the content of this and many other forums, I was just making a general point about the ways that people might use to counter that kind of thing - enough small acts of repression can lead to totalitarianism eventually.

No, you aren't.

as I said before validating legal ownership of Logic Professional software will weed out non-pros, cons, and pirates that need troubleshooting or assistance with their cracked software on this forum now and into the future. by only purchasing the hardware dongle the Apple Mac computer or building a hackintosh should not allow Logic Pro user community registration or viewing even partial threads or thread summaries like image-line allows.

Yes, but will it also help against people who keep spamming Cr *mWre products on this forum?

haha now we have comedians to weed out...

the John Bowen synths, the Modular IV, and effects dsp's with creamware/sonic core scope are just unbelievable sounding compared to the synths in Logic Pro.

ironically people were spamming about Emagic around here a long time ago and now Apple is Emagic and partially digidesign (new recruit about a year and a half ago I think) as far as the development team goes.

I only copied the message posted with the three links in it (including one to system requirements) about creamware/sonic core because I agree with the poster about scopes audio quality compared with Logic Pro. why is honest suggestion consistently deleted from the boards? I am not affiliated with creamware/sonic core. since the user level of this Forum has been trashed (many professionals have left) and abused honest users like me get their posts removed from the forum because this forum does not validate legal ownership of Logic Professional software during registration to participate in the first place. rampant moderation has made this place nearly unlivable and unprofessional.

@spheric..

this is totally what i ment!! 🙂 yeah you wouldnt want to effect a region and then other audio to be updated with that same effected audio.. that'd be silly! basically you'd get the option to create a new version as you do in cubase and nuendo ... 🙂

its just so handy to cut a audio file up and apply different effects directly! really hope they implement this as then i'd defo move to logic!!!

🙂
