Sent out a music producer survey and here's a list of features we really hope will be considered for Logic 10:

1. A user interface overhaul
2. A massive core audio upgrade
3. A major improvement on audio & instrument editing features, especially for editing and creating custom drum sounds etc etc!!!
4. Far superior automation & panning features
5. Multiple mixer screen views and options especially waveform view in the metering aspect
6. Deeper range of color options to color code project/session data
7. More customizable options for the logic user interface like interface skins or ways of using custom gfx like logo's and custom color schemes to make ones logic user interface more unique!!!
8. More consistent and useful updates that add new features as well as improving older ones!!!

If these producer's works are as unique as their feature requests, they must be doing some groundbreaking work with loops and Autotune.

    Hi,

Did you submit this feature request through their proper channels?

And if you did, why are you posting it here?

Oh, please tell your producers to look for one feature I am always on the lookout for :

    Talented Artists.

    Cheers

The feature requests in this thread can be summarized as "make everything more bettar and give me skinz. It'll sound phatter and my monster cans will implode my brainz."

    Except in all-caps.

lol... love the idea of a talent compensation button!

The OP's post is painful. I would refer them to Reaper if they want it to look gairish and colourful, but it's actually quite a nice bit of software.

logic 10 = *better destructive audio editing!!* i'd like to be able to apply any effect directly to portions of an audio file! cut them up, re-process them there and then... none of this 'add an effect to the channel' then bounce it down.. pro tools and cubase have done this for years.. anyways.. thats my two cents... better destructive audio editing..... please!!!!

Urg...no. Extremely limited usefulness, and huge danger of inadvertently affecting other audio elsewhere in your arrangement.

Much rather have this non-destructive, but with the ability to apply effects selectively only to audio regions, the way Nuendo does it. No more need to create a new track just to fix the one vocal phrase where she didn't hit the sweet spot and you have to adjust EQ and compressor to make it seamless.

    2. Male singers never miss...?

He he - nice one, Erik, I remember that one the first time around.

Very timely for us Brits, since there's currently a media frenzy about sexism (in football!).

Yeah I heard, something about a lineswoman and some 2nd rank pundit being all adolescent and "stone-agy" about it... I'd fire him rightaway, I don't like thoughtless dumb ******** in general...

In snooker they seem to be less mediaeval/childish. A woman can (and has) referee(d) the World Championship final.
Maybe it's because they been around, with their balls and their 'cues', nowaddeyemean? nudge nudge,
