Nope. When you turn Passcode off, Picture Frame comes back on. Nice try though.

Again, as I mentioned in my first post, the Picture Frame icon returns to the unlock screen automatically every time I turn off the passcode lock. Yes Picture Frame is turned off in the preferences, but that darn little flower icon shows up again in the lower right corner of the lock screen.

Again, this bothersome and I can't imagine there isn't away to remove this feature from the iPad. I can't seem to do it in iTunes. If anyone can offer any real help, I would really appreciate it.

I have found 2 workarounds for this. 1. Delete all photos from the iPad.(This is what I'm currently doing, but it seems like overkill.) 2. Create an album in iPhoto with a black or blank image and select that album to play in the Picture Frame preferences.
I had exactly the same problem. Here are screenshots: my settings page, and a screen shot of my unlock screen.
Everyone here seems to be missing the point. I'm the same as gothamgirl-i want the **** icon removed so i dont have to see it.It's annoying and the option should be mine to view it or not-not Apples. As to -well just dont touch it-that applies to a lot of things in life-sadly quite often when you swipe across you do touch it. It didnt used to be there and it only appeared when i suddenly had a picture stored in the Ipad. In settings it appears as if you can turn it off but in fact you cant. And thats where gothamgirl and i both wonder how people here said it could be turned off when it cant-no news is better than incorrect news
