adjust volume for iTunes with master F9/F10/F11 volume keys with Apple TV

I'm not sure if I should post this in Apple TV or iTunes so I'll try both.

When I am using my MBA speakers or headphone out to play iTunes I can control the volume with the master volume keys (F9, F10, F11). However, when I toggle iTunes to send the music to my Apple TV (which has an output to my stereo receiver) the master volume keys don't adjust the volume. I have to physically go into iTunes and reduce the volume on the slider bar.

Is there a way to have the master volume keys adjust the volume of the output to Apple TV (or iTunes)?

Thanks, but its not working very smoothly. When I open the program, the volume keys don't do anything. When I use the Command keys, they don't control Itunes volume. When I click the the "Use Command Modifier" in the menu bar, and use command + volume, I get pulled out of my full-screen itunes window and jumps back to my desktop. Can you work this out?

Dear mklovessf,

Thank you very much for your feedback. Maybe you want to try the latest version. I have been continuously working on it during these days. It is hard for me to say what it could be not working with you. Could you also post the version of your operating system and your iTunes? So far I tested the little app on my computer (Mountain Lion) and the computer of my brother (Lion). On both it seems to work properly.

In the next days I will be able to test it with more computers when I will be back at work. Hopefully then bugs should disappear.
