I speculate that the frustration is toward the company that found the problem on the 1st of Jan, and did not send an email to every itunes account linked to an iPhone the same day to warn people.
I work in a company that would email its entire client base with a link to a website that is multilingual and we could probably set that up within a few hours of being directed to an issue.

My question was part of a response to someone else regarding a particular bug that occurred. What you actually did was butt in and take it out of context.

I quite understand the frustration and have said so. I also suggested that Apple should have sent a text message to iPhone users. Email would not have worked near as well as Apple does not necessarily have the active email accounts of all iPhone users.

Your company could within hours push out emails to 100 million users? And you have a current database of these 100 million users around the world? Do have to say I am impressed.
